I read somewhere that most bloggers quit about 6 months into blogging. I have to admit I was following down that road... I started my blog in January and my last post was in August, which means I had a good seven month run but then a 3 month dry spell. The truth is blogging isn't easy! When I first started my blog I was definitely naive. I envisioned blogging to be about 20% work and 80% sippin' on lattes in a NYC cafe as I just watched all the people flood to my page. BUT it's quite the contrary.
Blogging takes hard work, dedication, and A LOT of time! I am not going to become a blogger superstar overnight. With that said, I am no longer going to make excuses for not posting every week or complain that my life is too busy or too hectic. I am going to commit to this thing once and for all. I have so many plans for the blog and exciting things to come, how could I quit now?! The journey is the best part anyway and I am just getting started. Truly, this is my baby, I have worked very hard over the last few months to reinvent my website, gain new clients and even made a few more blogger friends along the way. This blog is the "Apple of my Eye!"
Speaking of apples! Boy, do I have an amazing treat for you guys, just in time for the Holiday! Lucky for me I have had plenty of practice with this recipe since I made this Apple Cobbler at least 20 times last week for a beautiful barn wedding! It was a huge hit and I heard from a little birdie that every last morsel was eaten, A+ in my book!
