Hi everyone and welcome to Sugar with Style! I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my brand, and my background. My name is Amanda Sims and I love everything about CAKE and celebrating the people I love! 

I have always enjoyed baking. In fact my very first job was working at the local bakery in town, Sapienza. The memories made there will forever be a part of who I am and most likely why I love baking so much! Although, I had a love for cake I went off to study Fashion Merchandising, in New York City. I worked for so many elevated brands such as Bergdorf Goodman, Donna Karan and Bloomingdales. 

I love being able to combine food (CAKE) and styling to really elevate any special moment in life.
The sweets I create are always homemade and composed from fresh ingredients. I love mixing organic elements from nature to portray a simple yet sophisticated aesthetic. I truly believe that my ability to visually merchandise and market products has been crucial to the evolution of my brand. 

In addition to my cake business I am the co-founder of Wild Flour Studio with my business partner Jennifer Murphy of Forget Me Knots.
